2013年にyumboへリードギタリストとして加入し、2016年からは自らのバンド「inochi」を率いて活動している皆木大知が、初めて自らの名前を冠して制作したソロ・アルバム。自宅での緻密な作業をベースに、佐藤ゆか (cl/bcl/cor/vo)、名取一祐 (ds/perc)、 石塚博基 (b)らゲストプレイヤーを配して制作された本作は、2022年2月にbandcampでデジタル・アルバムとして先行リリースされ、inochiでのチェンバーロック的合奏とメンバーのインタープレイの世界から、より皆木個人の内面ないしは無意識の領域にまで踏み込み、根源的な歌の世界を開陳した目覚ましい美しさが注目を集めていた。CD化に際しては、アルバム本編の全16曲に新たにボーナストラック3曲を加え、アートワークも刷新。日本語と英訳歌詞を掲載した8Pブックレットを封入したフィジカル作品としてリニューアルしている。

Daichi Minaki, who joined yumbo as the lead guitarist in 2013 and has led his own band "inochi" since 2016, has produced his first solo album under his own name. This album, which is made with multiple guest players based on meticulous work at home, was first released as a digital album on bandcamp in February 2022, and attracted attention for its remarkable beauty, which went beyond inochi’s world of the chamber rock ensemble and the interplay of the members to the inner or unconscious realm of the individual Minaki, revealing a world of fundamental songs. The CD version includes all 16 songs from the album plus three new bonus tracks, updated artwork, and an 8-page booklet with lyrics in Japanese and English.
